Aaron Hale
"I was born to an Ashkenazi Jewish mother and a Jamaican father in Toronto. Our family celebrated major Christian and Jewish holidays, but there was very little talk about God at home. I enjoyed attending a secular Jewish Shul, which helped me connect culturally to my Jewish heritage, though not so much
spiritually. After losing my father at the age of 19, I became increasingly curious about the afterlife. In my early twenties, my spiritual seeking intensified.
Curious and hungry for truth, I dove deeper into occultic practices like astrology, tarot, and psychic intuition. After working in the film/tv industry, I dedicated my life to God, began reading the Bible and felt convicted to abandon my sinful lifestyle and even leave the secular entertainment industry.
My life changed rapidly as I embraced Yeshua, moved back to Toronto, and eventually got baptized. Rather than becoming 'less' Jewish, my journey made me feel a deeper connection to the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), and a desire learn some Hebrew. I want my Jewish people to know that Yeshua is the Messiah that our people have been waiting for and that it is not a contradiction to be Jewish and believe in Yeshua."
