Roman Beloglazov

Missionary Trainee

Roman grew up in Israel in a secular Jewish home, though for a time he was drawn to traditional Jewish practice. After his Bar Mitzvah, ideas he encountered online pulled him away from God entirely, and he became a committed atheist.

After moving to Canada in 2010, he spent years searching for truth and meaning through science, philosophy, and personal achievement, yet remained deeply unsatisfied.

In the summer of 2021, he became convinced that God must exist and continued searching in earnest. As he explored various materials, he eventually opened the New Testament for the first time. Immediately, he recognized its message as true. A few months later he placed his faith in Jesus, and two weeks after that, his wife Kendal did the same.

A visit to Israel in 2023 stirred a calling to bring this message to the Jewish people. Roman now serves as a Missionary Trainee with Jews for Jesus Canada. He holds a BSc in Physics and previously served as a Canadian Army officer.
